Feed Budgeting

We use a combination of proven templates and feed budgeting software to develop detailed annual feed budgets. These are broken down into smaller, manageable segments to support effective decision-making throughout the season.

In spring, we implement the industry standard Spring Rotation Planner, using tools such as square meter measurements and average pasture covers to guide grazing management. Feed wedges are used to monitor growth and identify a potential feed surplus or deficit.

During the autumn period, we complete targeted supply/demand feed budgets to ensure farmers achieve the necessary pasture cover and culling targets, setting them up for a smooth transition into winter and a strong start to the following season.
